McGraw-Hill Education has an opening for an experienced, innovative, and strategic Corporate System Analyst based at Noida, India.

 

The Corporate System Analyst will support the SaaS applications in Procurement, Human Resources and Communications.  The resource will acquire in depth knowledge of Ariba, Fieldglass, Workday and Jive Software through cross training, documentation and support tasks assigned by the on-shore leads. Resolve support requests provided through the Help Desk ticketing software.  This resource will provide stable support to the Procurement, Human Resources and Communications teams. 


MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES

Projects and Enhancements:  Work with MHE technical leads for Jive, Ariba and Workday to identify project work to drive improvement of these systems.  Fill the roles of Business Analyst, Developer and Tester when needed.  Prepare system data flow diagrams at the direction of MHE Technology Lead

Support Activities:  Manage day-to-day operations of integration activities of Ariba, Jive, Workday.  Resolve support tickets submitted through our Help Desk ticketing system.  Manage day to day operational support around failed jobs, schedule updates and minor enhancements. 

                                   


OTHER ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Effectively communicate assignment status to GTS Leads.

Functional Design document creation.

Technical Design document creation.

Process flow review and enhancements.

Code development and unit testing related to enhancements.

Develop effort estimation on change requests.

Inter team collaboration and communication.

Configuration updates.

Maintain design documents and object code changes through PPM.

Maintain object versions in PVCS. 

Perform Assembly Testing.

Facilitate User Acceptance testing.

Reports progress and status toward department goals in a timely and effective manner.

Establish domain expertise in the relevant back office systems as needed to support key test processes in both manual and automated capacities

Utilize project management processes and methodologies to assist in on-time, on budget and high quality deliverables

May be required to perform software upgrade evaluations

Successfully work with teams in an onsite and offshore support delivery model

Coordinate system changes across divisions and business groups

Document system changes via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis

 

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

Degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science (or equivalent)

Experience supporting and or implementing Ariba Procure to Pay desirable but not required.

Experience with Fieldglass and Concur desirable but not required.

Background in integration between ERP and downstream systems especially Oracle EBS R12. 

Experience using the Ariba Integration Tool Kit or other ETL type tool.  

Database experience including view creation.

Experience with project accounting a plus.

 

 

DIGITAL SKILLS/ CAPABILITIES

Ariba On Demand, Fieldglass, Concur, Ariba ITK a plus

Windows, Linus family operating systems

JavaScript, Shell Script, HTML.

Database connectivity skills using tools such as Toad and Oracle Developer.

Version control software
