How? By working from our Sydney CBD office, contacting academics at Higher Education institutes on a daily basis, via phone, email and campaigns
Once you make meaningful contact key targets, you will use your consultative solution selling experience, to understand the key challenges faced by the modern day academic, and suggest the most appropriate solution for their unit of study.
If we have a solution that fits the customers pain points, you will position this to the customer and agree next steps to close the business, while looging all activity in our Salesforce.com CRM tool
If you are successful: You will get to introduce academics across your assigned territory to the most innovative teaching platforms, that will help them deliver the most engaging units of study, that students will love.

A deeper dive in the roles & responsibilities:
- Responsible for achieving existing & new business sales targets, via phone, email and other campaigns
- Building and managing sales pipelines, and building and managing customer relationships. Use of Salesforce CRM (SFDC) is required in performing these activities.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge: it will make solution selling far easier!
- Working and collaborating with other MHE teams
- Maintain professional relationships with all key stakeholders – academics, , internal colleagues.
What are we looking for:
- An understanding of the higher education (university) industry
- A passion and hunger for success and results
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to contribute to a friendly team environment
- High attention to detail
- Solution-selling and/or consultative sales experience desired but not essential
- Have the experience or confidence to cold call, on phone
- Engaging phone/skype based presentation skills
- Passion for educational technology and helping university learners
- Degree preferred but not essential
