Our Application Process

McGraw Hill, and many other companies, have shifted to virtual interviews due to COVID-19. Are you are looking for resources to help with your job search? Here are our favorite resources.

We know it can be disappointing when you don’t hear back from a recruiter in a timely manner, so we strive to respond to all applications as soon as we can. If you haven’t heard from us within 10 days of submitting your application, please email us for a status update. You can also check the status of your application by logging into our career portal by clicking here.

You’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps and a timeline of when you can expect to hear back from a recruiter.

Our recruitment platform offers recruiters an AI solution through intelligent job matching that recommends candidates with “like skills” based on resume and job data. Decisions on who progresses forward in the process is human-led and not determined by AI. In response to NYC Local Law 144, a bias audit was completed and can be reviewed here.

We have offices around the world.

Our U.S. offices are in Columbus, New York City, Irvine, Chicago, Dubuque, East Windsor, and Seattle.

Immigration sponsorship is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please speak with your recruiter about immigration sponsorship!

We do! In fact, about 40% of our roles are worked remotely.

If a role can be worked from home, you’ll see the location labeled as “Remote”. You can also type the keyword “Remote” when searching for a role to find all remote opportunities. You can also search for opportunities that offer a hybrid approach.

Relocation is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please speak with your recruiter about relocation assistance!
